Rokicki was a member of a group of Polish diplomats and Jewish activists backed by the Polish government-in-exile, which worked with South American governments to provide about 1,000 Jews from all over Europe with fake passports, saving some 800 lives.
Poland’s Ambassador to Switzerland, Jakub Kumoch, told Radio Poland the story.
